Mike grew up with a variety of different dogs from Dachshunds to GSDs but it wasn’t until many years later that Cassie came into his life, beginning what was to be an ongoing love for Dalmatians.

Mike served on the British Dalmatian Club Committee for four years, was Chief Steward for two of these and Welfare co-ordinator for a year. He is a Kennel Club approved judge and has taken all the necessary seminars and exams required by the K.C. Consequently he is on the approved judging list of both the British Dalmatian Club and the North of England Dalmatian Club. He holds the offices of Chairman for both Langney Ringcraft Club and Eastbourne & District Canine Society for whom he is also Chief Steward.

Mike’s involvement with the Carriage Dog Trials has been since its inception and for the last four years has been the Trials Manager.

Together with wife Chris, he currently owns three Dalmatians, has bred three litters and has dogs at stud.

His career began in the City of London and progressed to an Economic Strategist for a company trading and negotiating with a number of former Eastern Bloc countries. He subsequently managed a European division of a U.S. Music company, ran his own company and latterly works in the Gas supply industry.
